March 5 is Employee Appreciation Day 2021, a day designated to recognize the efforts and accomplishments of employees in the US and Canada.
This month also marks one year since COVID-19 began impacting the way people work – enhanced safety protocols in the workplace, working-from-home, rotating schedules, temporary layoffs, and other new policies and practices – a year of uncertainty and challenge.
For CJ Logistics employees, in addition to a year of continuing the essential work of keeping goods moving through the supply chain, it has also been the final year of an integration journey that began in 2018 and culminated in the announcement earlier this week that DSC Logistics is now CJ Logistics. The CJ Logistics team looks forward to maintaining the company’s commitment to providing expanded capabilities, creating sustainable customer value, driving continuous improvement and designing a fully integrated customer experience.
“Our success depends on the commitment and strength of our employees, especially during these challenging times,” said CJ Logistics America CEO Ed Bowersox. “This difficult year has revealed so much about who we are as a company, and who we are as people. We’ve learned that we are a resilient, unstoppable team. I am thankful for all that our employees do, and for their commitment to the team and to our customers. I am proud to be working with all of them.”
