DSC awards 2016 Michael A. Weinstock DSC Operations Scholarship

Alec Angel, son of Javier Angel, LMI, VAS Manager, Toledo, has been named the recipient of the Michael A. Weinstock DSC Operations Scholarship for the 2016-2017 school year. Alec is a student at the University of Cincinnati, majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He plans to work in the supply chain field after graduation in 2019.

The decision of the scholarship committee was based on the depth and distinction of the applicants’ responses, academic performance, work ethic as demonstrated by recommendations, activities and experiences, and enthusiasm for the chosen field of study.

The $10,000 scholarship will be applied to expenses such as tuition, fees, books, and on campus room and board. The scholarship competition was open to any graduating high school senior enrolling into college or undergraduate college student with a parent who works in a DSC Operations role.
