CJ Logistics America is pleased to announce that it has hired Matt Pesavento as Senior Director of Business Development. Pesavento, who is based in Yakima, Washington, has more than 30 years of sales and strategic real estate solution experience, with expertise in cold storage and logistics infrastructure.
In his new role, Pesavento will identify new growth opportunities for CJ Logistics as part of the company’s significant investment and expansion of its cold chain practice. The company opened a brand new, state-of-the-art cold storage facility in Gainesville, Georgia, last year and has another cold warehouse near Kansas City set to open in Q3 of 2025. Additional facilities are also being planned for the near future in other strategic locations throughout the country.
Prior to joining CJ Logistics, Pesavento served as Vice President of Business Development with RL Cold. He has also spent time with real estate developer Portman Industrial and the South Carolina Ports Authority.
