CJ Logistics America is pleased to recognize and celebrate Black History Month, the annual February celebration of achievements and contributions by African Americans. The theme of Black History Month 2023 is “Black Resistance” chosen by the Association for the Study of African American Life and History.

US presidents have officially designated the month of February as Black History Month since 1976. Also known as African American History Month, the event began as the idea of Harvard-trained historian Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans. The first celebration was during a week in February 1926 that included the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass.

At CJ Logistics America, we believe our world is better when diverse peoples and cultures come together to understand each other’s experiences and perspectives.
