Laura Adams, Senior Director, Supply Chain Solutions, recently spoke to an undergraduate class at University of Illinois Chicago. In the introductory transportation engineering class taught by Assistant Professor Bo Zou, students are learning about fundamentals in transportation planning, systems analysis and traffic flows.
In her presentation, Laura provided an overview of the Supply Chain, 3PL marketplace and DSC Logistics. She and the students discussed real world examples and how the data, information and intelligence process is key to providing strategic as well as everyday solutions.
