Kids going back to school? CJ Logistics gives back.

Connecting with the local community is at the heart of CJ Logistics America’s culture. Across our entire nationwide network, we proactively seek out opportunities for our employees to give back and serve in a variety of community outreach activities.

Over the course of the last few weeks, employees from several CJ Logistics locations have followed one of our annual traditions and stepped up in a big way. We’ve partnered with local organizations and businesses to gather supplies for students in need as they head back to school this Fall, ensuring they can have a successful and productive learning experience.

Our company headquarters office in Des Plaines, Illinois, worked with the Salvation Army to help them in reaching their goal of collecting 100 backpacks filled with school supplies. CJ Logistics employees also participated in a community block party to distribute those goods to those in need on August 2.

Employees and their families in Florida made generous donations of school supplies that will be going directly to Whitehouse Elementary School, which is located just down the road from one of CJ Logistics’ Jacksonville warehouses. Additionally, employees at our Fairburn, Georgia; Fontana, California; and Country Club Hills, Illinois; sites are also holding similar charitable events.

The CJ Logistics culture is a unique one in our industry, and we prioritize living our values everyday. We would like to thank all of our employees for embracing those values and working tirelessly to help others in our communities thrive.

The [logistics center] team has always gone above & beyond in ensuring our ability to service our customers comes first. The team has always far exceeded the expectations of partnership between our companies.
