CJ Logistics Group General Manager Doug Smith will participate in a webinar panel discussion hosted by the Women in Trucking Association, a non-profit organization focused on encouraging the employment of women in the trucking industry, promoting their accomplishments, and minimizing obstacles they face.
The webinar will be held on Wednesday, January 31, from 1-2 pm CT and is titled “Guys: How Can You Be An Effective Male Ally?” This is a follow-up from a similar panel that Smith participated in at the Accelerate! Conference & Expo in November 2023.
During this webinar, Doug will talk about his role as a mentor at CJ Logistics and how he identifies good candidates for development, helping women leaders and drivers navigate through barriers to their success, and advocating for women in the workplace by setting examples and shutting down stereotypes.
