CEO Kevin Coleman represented CJ Logistics America at the Korean War Veterans Memorial Wall of Remembrance Dedication last month in Washington DC.

The Wall of Remembrance is an addition to the existing Korean War Veterans Memorial located just southeast of the Lincoln Memorial. Dedicated to the Families of the Fallen and Korean War Veterans, the Wall of Remembrance displays the names of the US military and Korean Augmentation to the United States Army (KATUSA) personnel who gave their lives defending South Korea’s people from aggression and ensuring their freedom.

The Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation redesigned and rededicated the memorial “to honor those who fought in the war and ensured a free and democratic South Korea, to educate visitors about the cost of the war (nearly 1000 soldiers died each month during the 37 months the war was fought), and to show the strength of the existing ironclad ROK [Republic of Korea]–US alliance.”

“It was a moving experience to be among the thousands who attended the events on July 22,” Coleman said. “I was proud to represent CJ Logistics America at the ceremony honoring veterans of the Korean War and showing the strength of the US-South Korea relationship.”
