Marketing & Communications VP joins panel at 3PL Value Creation North America Summit

Jennifer Nix, VP, Marketing & Communications, CJ Logistics America, participated in a panel discussion during the 3PL Value Creation North America Summit, October 21-22. Nix joined other logistics company executives on the panel moderated by Karen Erickson, VP, Armstrong & Associates, Inc., to discuss “Key Trends in Food and Beverage Logistics.”

The panelists discussed the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on food and beverage supply chains, how 3PLs are reacting, and the potential long-term changes. Their discussion included topics such as increased demands for same-day delivery and refrigerated/frozen warehouse space, supply chain integrity, sustainability or green efforts, and the use of visibility and automation in food and beverage logistics.

The 3PL Value Creation North America Summit is a strategic event where C-level 3PL executives, investment community leaders, and technology innovators virtually network to assess the current and future outlook of the third-party logistics market and explore strategies for value creation. The eighth annual event, virtually hosted by Armstrong & Associates, analyzed third-party logistics industry factors such as e-commerce growth, digitalization, labor shortages, global trade agreements, M&A and advancements in technological innovation.
