Today, Monday, May 18, is Supply Chain Professionals Appreciation Day. DSC Logistics, now CJ Logistics America, joins in appreciation for the supply chain professionals in our organization and for all those everywhere responsible for keeping America’s supply chain moving during these difficult times.
The third Monday in May was designated by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) as a day to honor the professionals responsible for the buy, make, move and sell activities that comprise the modern supply chain.
“The creation of the Annual Supply Chain Professionals Day allows us to recognize this growing and evolving discipline and the professionals who serve within it,” Rick Blasgen, CSCMP President and Chief Executive Officer, said in 2018 when the day was inaugurated.
