Connecting globally to enable integrated supply chain solutions

DSC’s Chief Customer Officer, Kevin Coleman, and SVP of Customer Solutions, Justin Bae, traveled to China and South Korea last week to make global connections advancing integrated supply chain solutions.

In China, they visited CJ Rokin’s TES (Technology, Engineering, Systems & Solutions) Innovation Center, marking a significant milestone on the company’s path to establish a TES Innovation Center in the United States. “The goal of our Innovation Center will be to showcase technologies which are practical and useable now,” said Kevin Coleman, “We will focus on real, actionable solutions.”

In a summit in Seoul, South Korea, Coleman and Bae collaborated with CJ Logistics leaders from across the globe to generate innovative solutions for multinational customers. Following the summit, the group toured several of CJ’s automated facilities in Seoul, including a flagship Starbucks logistics center, an integrated food and CPG hub and an omnichannel fulfillment facility.

“The trip was a great opportunity to observe CJ’s cutting edge technology at work in China and South Korea. We came away with a lot of ideas for customer solutions and our upcoming innovation center,” Coleman explained. “The summit discussions broadened our understanding of global capabilities and connection points.”
