DSC hosts 2016 Partner Summit on Supply Chain Collaboration

DSC Logistics’ eighth annual Partner Summit addressed the topic of “Supply Chain Collaboration in a Changing World” July 13-14 at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Ed Bowersox, Chief Customer Officer, and Ann Drake, CEO, welcomed DSC top management and supply chain leaders from some of DSC’s key customers to the 2016 Summit. Also in attendance were visiting advisors and members of AWESOME, the initiative founded by Ann Drake for advancing women’s leadership in supply chain.

Participants representing a variety of industries met to gain insights from common supply chain challenges and experiences. Discussion topics included “The Impact of Mergers and Acquisitions on Supply Chain Management,” “The Changing Complexity of Transportation Management” and “Mitigating Risk: Supply Chain Responses to Increasing Regulatory and Industry Requirements.” An interactive roundtable discussion, facilitated by Susan Sentell, CEO and President, Gladson, covered “The Changing Landscape of Retail.”

DSC established the Partner Summit Series in 2009 as a forum for participants to network with peers, gain new perspectives and exchange ideas in the spirit of advancing collaboration, transformation and leadership in supply chain management.
