DSC Logistics CFO David Copeland has been named Chicago CFO of the Year in the Mid-Size Private Company category by Financial Executives International (FEI) Chicago Chapter. The award honoring Dave as a senior financial leader who has made significant contributions to a business in the Chicago area, was presented by FEI at their awards gala November 1.
Dave recognized his team and fellow DSC leaders as he accepted the award. “It’s very rewarding to work with the best of the best leaders to lead this company to great things. I look forward to what’s ahead,” he said.
DSC’s CFO since 2010, Dave joined the company in 2007 as Vice President and Controller, and took on responsibility for Finance in 2008. Under his leadership, DSC has achieved consistently strong financial performance through a combination of revenue growth, improved financial processes, and a focus on efficiency and productivity.
FEI is an association for CFOs and other senior financial executives in the United States and Canada, providing networking, advocacy and updates on financial management, reporting, compliance and regulatory issues.
