DSC CEO Ann Drake has been included in the list of “Food Logistics Champions: Rock Stars of the Supply Chain” for 2016. This award honors individuals in the supply chain industry whose achievements, hard work, and vision have shaped and attained milestones in safety, efficiency, productivity and innovation throughout the global food supply chain.
In selecting Ann for the second year in a row, Food Logistics said she “has worked to support the growing complexities in the supply chain environment, guiding DSC in developing supply chain visibility tools, establishing a Supply Chain Solutions team to lead the development of creative solutions to help customers achieve business goals, developing a standard setting labor management program, expanding DSC’s value-added services capabilities, and adding a new dimension to the role of strategic supply chain partner by working as a Lead Logistics Partner (LLP).”

DSC has plans to roll out the new Pick and Load technology across its entire logistics center network and is phasing in enhanced system functionality for further efficiencies.
