DSC Senior Director, Industrial Engineering & Continual Improvement, and Chair for the JDA Warehouse Labor Management (WLM) Special Interest Group (SIG), presented a session on “DSC’s Labor Management Journey,” and led two WLM SIG breakout meetings at JDA FOCUS 2016, JDA’S annual global conference, in Nashville, May 1-4.
In his presentation, Jim discussed how DSC utilized JDA’s Warehouse Labor Management program to help transform company culture to one of accountability and continual improvement, explaining that DSC started the journey with JDA’s WLM in 1995 and since then has seen not only an improvement in productivity but also an influx of data and information that has allowed us to implement and justify other cost saving programs.
Connor Braatz, Senior Industrial Engineer, also attended the conference.
