Open to exploring emerging technology, with pilots ongoing across the network, DSC is careful to establish a clear road map on how to use technology most effectively. “While we embrace new technology, we always want to carefully assess how it can be applied in our customer operations,” said CIO Kevin Glynn, recently named 2019 CIO Innovator of the Year for Chicago. “How will it increase our capabilities to deliver innovative solutions for our customers?”

“At the recent Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference, we explored the digital supply chain, a collection of software applications and data all integrated to give end-to-end supply chain visibility and management,” Glynn said. “We’re working on what that means for DSC.”
