Ken Heller, Chief Transportation Officer, spoke to students about subjects such as leadership and the value of building and sustaining business relationships at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business on April 12. He joined Michelle Livingstone, Vice President, Transportation for The Home Depot, at the student event.
Heller has a BS in Finance from Indiana University and is on the IU Supply Chain Advisory Board. He began his career at Kraft Foods where he and Livingstone were colleagues. Livingstone has a BS in Business, with a concentration in transportation, from IU.
Women’s leadership in the supply chain and logistics industry was one of the topics covered at the event. Heller has worked for many years with Ann Drake, Chairman of the DSC Logistics Advisory Board and former DSC CEO, who founded the women’s leadership initiative AWESOME (Achieving Women’s Excellence in Supply Chain Operations, Management, and Education).
