Laura Adams is Vice President, TES (Technology, Engineering, Systems & Solutions). She has responsibility for the functional areas of Technology, Engineering, Solutions and Business Process Integration and provides leadership in the piloting and advancement of innovative end-to-end solutions fusing technology, automation, optimal processes and advanced technology. Laura’s work focuses on delivering greater efficiencies, process enhancement and increased productivity in the operations. She oversees the Business Process Integration (BPI) functional team, which collaboratively leads implementations and integrations significant in size, scope and complexity. She serves as a member of the Executive Team and co-leads the Technology Steering Committee.
In previous roles, Laura has led the design of innovative supply chain solutions that bring strategic value to CJ Logistics’ customers and prospective customers. She has had responsibility for guiding the Solutions team in collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operationally and financially sound solutions. She has been a key contributor to the company’s sustainability initiatives and previously had shared responsibility for leading the Strategic Partnership Council (SPC).
Laura joined the company in 2006 as Supply Chain Analyst and has since served as Manager, Supply Chain Excellence and Senior Manager, Supply Chain Solutions. She was promoted to Director in 2013, to Senior Director in 2016 and to Vice President in 2021. Previously, she worked for Lucent Technologies as Engineering Project Manager and Customer Relationship Manager and was a graduate associate with The Walt Disney Company. Laura has a BS in Industrial Management from Purdue University and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
