CJ Logistics America’s team in Nazareth, PA, and the CJ Logistics Transportation team recently partnered with customer B&G Foods to deliver another truckload donation to City Harvest in Brooklyn, NY.
The trailer carrying the donation of 40,000 cans of Green GiantTM corn also stopped by the Nederlander Theatre for a photo op with the cast of the hit musical comedy Shucked. During a curtain call, referencing the corn connection, the cast recognized the generous donation and the important efforts of City Harvest, New York’s first and largest food rescue organization.

B&G Foods, Green GiantTM’s parent company, manufactures and distributes high-quality branded shelf-stable and frozen foods across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. As B&G’s logistics partner, CJ Logistics America manages the Nazareth warehouse and the team there prepared the loads of donated vegetables for shipping. CJ Logistics Transportation, donated its services for the deliveries.
“We’re proud to be able to support B&G’s community outreach and work with them on bringing food to those in need,” said Doug Smith, Group General Manager, CJ Logistics Transportation. “Community service is important in our company culture and our teams did great work in collaborating and executing this project for B&G.”
