Brian Hecht, Director, Supply Chain Solutions, will present a case study session at LLamasoft’s annual supply chain design conference, SummerCon 2016, June 13-17 in New Orleans. In his session, “From Modeling to Execution–Developing a Distribution Strategy Balancing Transportation and Inventory Cost,” Brian will discuss how DSC utilizes modeling technology to continually optimize client supply chains by balancing service and costs. His case study presentation will show how DSC worked with one customer to determine the optimal distribution network balancing transportation cost, inventory carrying cost and service requirements while adding a brand acquisition to the network.
