DSC’s Arlington, Texas, Logistics Center has won the 2015 StarKist Top Tuna award. The annual Top Tuna and quarterly Big Tuna awards recognize the achievements of the logistics centers in performance relative to Quality, Inventory Accuracy and Safety in servicing the StarKist account.
The 2015 Big Tuna awards went to Des Plaines, Illinois, Quarter 1; Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Quarter 2; and Perris, California, Quarters 3 and 4.
StarKist also recognized DSC’s Transportation Management Center for improving customer satisfaction through enhanced reporting, increased on-time performance and dedication to excellent service.
This is the second year in a row for the winning Top Tuna team. “The Arlington team has once again delivered for our customer,” Ken Heller, Senior VP, Supply Chain Excellence, said. “The leadership of Kevin Nolan and the efforts of all employees in Arlington – and in the other DSC-StarKist sites – helped StarKist and DSC have another great year together.”
