Si Woo Kim won the PGA TOUR’s 2021 The American Express this weekend, finishing at 8-under 64 in Sunday’s final round. Kim birdied two of the final three holes, capping his third bogey-free round. He made 13 birdies in his last two rounds and finished the Palm Springs-area event at 23-under 265.
The 25-year-old South Korean, sponsored by CJ Logistics, is one of only two PGA TOUR players under 26 with three career wins. Kim won the 2017 Players Championship at age 21, becoming the youngest ever winner of the event. His first PGA TOUR win was at the 2016 Wyndham Championship.
Other CJ Logistics-sponsored golfers finished in the top 20: Byeong Hun An tied for eighth at 14-under and Sungjae Im tied for twelfth at 13-under.
