Beth Wong is Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Beth partners with the executive team to lead the strategic direction of the company and is responsible for the company’s financial health. Beth is responsible for leading and directing the company’s financial and accounting functions, including accounting, payroll, risk management, treasury, tax, forecasting and planning, and internal audit. She leads a team of approximately 50 people. She advises senior management on strategic investments and financial matters. She also partners with the sales organization, supporting our customers and ensuring the company’s strategy meets their needs. Beth played a key pivotal role in the merger of CJ Logistics America and DSC Logistics through her coordination of the due diligence efforts and integration of the two companies.
In her prior role as Vice President & Controller, Beth was responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s control environment, financial reporting and cash flow position. She partnered with operations to improve performance, driving continual improvement efforts in accounting and financial management processes.
Previously, Beth has held Corporate Controller positions in the distribution and manufacturing sectors, including Central Steel and Wire Company in Chicago. Beth has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and is a CPA. Beth has been in the accounting field for over 30 years.
