Abby Mayer, Director of Strategic Partnerships at CJ Logistics America, has been named as a winner by Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive in their annual Women in Supply Chain Awards.
These awards honor female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship, and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network. Abby was named in the “Rising Star” category of this year’s accolades, which recognizes young or newer professionals who are 39 and under.
At CJ Logistics America, Abby is responsible for multiple customer warehouse and transportation partnerships with annual spend exceeding $50M. She acts as a liaison between internal implementation team, finance & IT teams in partnership with operations to deliver excellence for our customers.
In addition, Abby has designed and implemented a structure for monthly rate review in CJ’s new SAP system to ensure audit oversight on customer rates & billing. By prioritizing listening and understanding, she has allowed other teams to elevate their processes and significantly improved the customer experience. She draws upon her varied background across over a decade of experience within supply chain including network design engineering, consulting as well as 5 years within Managed Transportation at Ryder.
