Abby Mayer, Director of Strategic Partnerships at CJ Logistics America, has been named as a winner by Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive in their annual Women in Supply Chain Awards.

CJ Logistics America, with almost 24 million square feet of warehouse space in 63+ facilities, has again been included in the list of Top 20 North American Warehousing 3PLs compiled by Armstrong & Associates and published in Modern Materials Handling.

ISO 9001:2015
CJ Logistics America has implemented a management system for internationally recognized service quality that is certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. This certification was awarded to our Colonial Heights, VA, Logistics Center by the Preferred Registrar Group, an accredited member of The ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board. Our Greensboro, NC, Logistics Center is currently certified to the ISO 9001:2008 standard and will be certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard in May, 2018.
American Institute of Baking (AIB) Certified
All required food-grade warehouses are AIB or ASI certified.
American Standards Institute (ASI) Certified
All required food-grade warehouses are AIB or ASI certified.
FDA Compliant
Our warehouses provide a cGMP / cGDP-compliant distribution environment for food, healthcare, and consumer products, in addition to compliance with the Security requirements for Public Safety and Bio-Terrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002 and 49 CFR Hazardous Materials Regulations.
VAWD® Accreditation
We have received Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributors (VAWD®) accreditation from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) at logistics centers that handle healthcare products, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Accreditation is earned through an intensive criteria compliance review, licensure verification, background checks, and an in-depth onsite inspection. The VAWD® program is focused on assuring that distribution facilities employ security and best practices for safely distributing products and protecting public health.
SmartWay Transport Partner
SmartWay is an innovative collaboration between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the freight industry, designed to improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions, and improve energy security. We are certified in two areas: as a logistics provider and a carrier partner.

These partnerships authorize us to manage the transportation of hazardous materials.
Registrations and Licensing
We manage and maintain FDA medical and food establishment registrations, USDA registrations and State Licensing in support of distribution activities throughout the US. We maintain licenses for doing business in 50 states on behalf of our healthcare and food customers. We constantly monitor key implementation dates and requirements of existing laws, such as DSCSA and FSMA, as well as potential legislation that could impact our customers’ business.
Certified Designated Representatives
Our certified Designated Representatives (DRs) and 3PL Designated Representatives (DRs) are tested by a national third-party testing center, and then licensed to provide sufficient and qualified supervision at logistics centers handling pharmaceutical healthcare products. They also meet DR requirements based on Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributors (VAWD) criteria. DRs protect the public health and safety in the handling, storage, warehousing, distribution, and shipment of dangerous drugs and dangerous devices.
Foreign Trade Zone Certified
Designated locations are certified and activated as a Foreign Trade Zone.
Federal and State Tax Exemptions
We have facilities in geographies in which the Triple Freeport Inventory Tax Exemption is granted. Triple Freeport Inventory Tax Exemption, which applies to local taxing jurisdictions – city, county and school district — allows companies meeting certain criteria to eliminate inventory tax on product that leaves the state of Texas within 175 days.
C-TPAT Compliant
CJ Logistics America is C-TPAT compliant. We are regularly audited from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, as we have customers in our Logistics Centers that are C-TPAT certified, which requires our facilities to be C-TPAT compliant. We have the ability to confirm the security of imports handled at logistics centers.
