CJ Logistics America announced today the promotions of Clem Alulis to Executive Vice President, Operations, and Laura Adams to Senior Vice President, Technology, Engineering, Systems & Solutions and Continuous Improvement.
In his new role, Alulis will oversee the operation of all distribution centers throughout the entire CJ Logistics network, working closely with the company’s customers and supply chain leaders to cultivate shared value and growth opportunities. Alulis has been with CJ Logistics America for more than two decades, starting his career in the company’s Successful Careers in Logistics (SCIL) program in 1999 and holding increasing levels of warehouse management responsibility. He left for a brief period in 2006 to work at Office Max and returned to the company in 2011. Alulis holds a BA from Penn State University and a MBA from DeSales University.
Adams began leading CJ Logistics’ Technology, Engineering, Systems & Solutions (TES) in 2021, and now adds Continuous Improvement to those responsibilities. In her role, Adams leads the piloting and advancement of innovative, end-to-end solutions fusing technology, automation, optimal processes and advanced technology. Her work focuses on delivering greater efficiencies, process enhancement and increased productivity and service for customers. She began her career with CJ Logistics in 2006 as Supply Chain Analyst and has received numerous promotions including Director in 2013, Senior Director in 2016, and Vice President in 2021. Prior to CJ Logistics, she worked for Lucent Technologies as Engineering Project Manager and Customer Relationship Manager. Laura has a BS in Industrial Management from Purdue University and a MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
