CJ Logistics America (CJLA) has been named to the list of Top 20 North American Warehousing 3PLs compiled by Armstrong & Associates, a third-party logistics (3PL) consultancy and research firm. The list of companies, ranked according to warehousing square footage within North America, is included in the Special Digital Issue of Modern Materials Handling (MMH).
Armstrong calls CJLA, with almost 25 million square feet of warehouse space and 65+ facilities, a company to watch in 2021, saying “the company’s prowess increased” when it acquired DSC Logistics and the two combined into a single operating company.
According to Armstrong and MMH, business for North American 3PLs remained fairly even in 2019 as they were handling the impacts of the COVID-19 global pandemic, including a huge surge in e-commerce orders. The e-commerce segment increased by 28 percent over 2019.
