We maintain temperature integrity with real-time monitoring and tracking across the entire cold chain — in storage and in transit. Our facilities run on Alta EXPERT Refrigeration Systems with QFM zone blast freezing, which brings products to their target temperature in as little as 24 hours, and our refrigerated transportation is monitored 24/7 with an alert system so products never drift outside their designated range.

Blast freezing is a rapid freezing method that brings products down to their target temperature much faster than conventional freezing, forming smaller ice crystals that better preserve texture, flavor, and nutritional value. At our Gainesville, GA facility, QFM zone blast freezing — the latest evolution in QuickFreeze technology — brings products to their desired temperature in 24 hours, making it an ideal fit for frozen proteins, prepared foods, and other perishables headed to retail, foodservice, or export markets.

Our sites are held to AIB, ASI, FDA, ISO, and VAWD standards as applicable, verified through a combination of customer audits and independent third-party reviews.

Audit cadence depends on the standard. AIB and ASI audits are conducted annually at certified sites, FDA audits occur at FDA-compliant locations as required, and VAWD (by NABP) and ISO (by PRG) are conducted every three years. On top of these, customer audits and internal audits run continuously to maintain compliance.

We notify the affected customer immediately and maintain a clear communication cadence from there, with a 24/7 communication bridge for critical events. Each Logistics Center has a local safety committee that investigates the incident and implements preventative measures, with oversight from our Director of Safety, Security and Compliance.

CDL-A driver candidates need a valid CDL-A, at least 24 months of recent driving experience, a clean motor vehicle record and background, and a DOT-compliant drug screen and physical. Many routes are home-daily with drop & hook and no-touch freight.

The SCIL program, with more than 30 years of success at our company, is designed to develop our future leaders. The SCIL program officially starts at the beginning of summer and lasts for 12-18-months. For individuals who graduate earlier and are interested in starting ahead of schedule, we may be able to accommodate an earlier start date.

The SCIL program is centered on hands-on warehouse operations, setting it apart from traditional corporate roles. As a SCIL Management Trainee, you will work directly in the warehouse, leading and engaging teams to drive productivity, maintain safety, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role is designed to develop your operational leadership skills and provide valuable insights into how data drives and optimizes warehouse performance and customer satisfaction.

This role is not a standard 9 AM to 5 PM position. As a SCIL Management Trainee, you will be expected to adapt to the operational needs of your assigned warehouse, which will require covering various shifts. This includes the possibility of working second or third shifts as necessary to support the business effectively.
