National Forklift Safety Day, June 8, calls attention to the importance of forklift operator safety training and forklift safety practices. The annual event, sponsored by the Industrial Truck Association (ITA), includes presentations from government representatives, safety experts and industry representatives, in a virtual format again this year.

Consumers and businesses began paying more attention to the supply chain as lockdowns and other measures – and panic shopping – led to delays, disruptions and shortages of product.
