Mona Mounts is Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). As CHRO, Mona has responsibility for organizational and cultural development, with the CJ Management Philosophy – and its central core value, OnlyOne – as the foundation. A member of the Supply Chain Transformation Council, working closely with CEO Ed Bowersox and the Executive Team, Mona provides strategic human resources support to senior corporate, operations and field HR leaders to foster talent recruitment and retention.

She leads a culture of positive employee relations, fortifying the company’s culture, supporting the delivery and communication of key initiatives and messages, and helping develop organizational strategies to facilitate the company’s continued and future success. She has responsibility for the overall HR function including field HR operations, talent management, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation, benefits and systems.

Mona joined the company in 2005 and was promoted to roles of increasing responsibility. Named Vice President, Human Resources in October 2018, she had responsibility for managing the field HR structure and operations. In 2019, she stepped in to serve as acting leader of the overall HR function and help to assess the company’s long-term leadership requirements.

Leading employee relations initiatives, Mona has fostered the development of leading practices for human resources across the network and championed a culture of diversity and employee engagement. Mona has a BA in Business Administration and an MBA from Mercer University.
